Research Activities

I am currently a 3rd year PhD Student who's thesis is unravelling therapeutics to reverse immunosuppression in Sepsis. 
I utilise small and large animal models to test such therapeutics and assess the effects on the innate immune system using flow cytometry.

  • Electrophysiology - recording of nerve activity in-vivo
  • Flow Cytometry 
  • Microbiology - Bacteriostatic and Bactericidal work. Colony Forming Units Assay 

Disease Models

  • Established sepsis in sheep 
  • Early sepsis in rats
